Ritmo Mundo, the 17 year old independent Italian designed California lifestyle watch brand announces its continued sponsorship of Indycar driver Marco Andretti.
As a brand ambassador, in 2018 Marco helped co-design and launch his limited edition Racer timepieces which sold out. In 2019, Marco joins forces with his wife, Marta Andretti, and they have set their sights on the Quantum II collection with customized and personal engraving available across the entire line.
“Since 2007 Ritmo Mundo has had a long-standing relationship with the auto racing world. From our official license with INDYCAR to our individual sponsorships with teams and champion drivers, our continued partnership with Marco makes perfect sense. I am thrilled to have Marta join us as a brand ambassador. Marta and Marco’s style and lifestyle goes hand in hand with our brand DNA” stated Ritmo founder and President Ali Soltani.
“Motorsport is part of Ritmo Mundo’s heritage and as a third-generation driver, I can certainly appreciate that,” says Andretti, noting the style and quality of Ritmo Mundo watches. “I look forward to another season of representing their brand on the race track and in the consumer marketplace. Also, I think it is pretty cool that, this year, Marta joins the Ritmo family so that we together can showcase the beautiful his-and-her Quantum II line.” Marta Andretti’s professional life is busy as singer, model, actress, television personality, presenter, fashion designer, humanitarian, and animal activist. She married Marco in 2017 after several years of dating.
Marco Andretti is a third-generation IndyCar driver following in the family footsteps. Grandfather Mario is second all-time in Indy car wins with 52, including the 1969 Indianapolis 500. Father Michael ranks fourth all time with 42 wins. Michael became a team owner in 2003 in what was then Andretti Green Racing. It has been Andretti Autosport since 2010 and will again field four entries in IndyCar Series competition in 2019 for drivers Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Alexander Rossi and Zach Veach.
The 2019 season began with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 10th. The biggest race of the season will be 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 26, 2019.
Ritmo Mundo and the Andretti’s look forward to a great race season.
