Persepolis

Persepolis

Designed in 2007, the dual and triple time Persepolis timepiece boasts a distinctive orbital case.

This timepiece captures the essence of the historical landmark, the Persian Empire, with its immense prestige. Just as the building embodies the great dynasty and its enduring influence, the watch design transcends time.

Persepolis, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, was the ceremonial capital of the Persian Empire during the Achaemenid dynasty. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to around 515 BC. The 2009 versions feature new case and dial treatments, each representing a king who ruled Persepolis throughout history.

This AUTOMATIQUE watch features a dual see-through, dual time zone, and dual date display. The RITMO original orbital case in a 50 mm version houses two SW 200 automatic movements. The time and date locations on the case are offset to the right upper zone, allowing the back gun metal of the movement to be highlighted. The date on either side is cased in the base offset metal. The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM and features a sapphire crystal. It is available in various materials and dual metals. Alternative straps, including stingray, alligator, and rubber straps, will be available.
